The Belly Band for male dogs has been tried and tested at Northcentral Maltese Rescue with very satisfactory results. Now you can have complete confidence in your dog when he is out of your sight. You can feel comfortable while riding in the car or visiting family and friends knowing that by lifting his leg he cannot do any damage in their homes. Belly Bands help put a stop to additional "doggie odor" and make your dog feel more secure knowing he will not be yelled at or punished.
Many male dogs "mark" their territory inside the house as well as outside. It is a natural and common thing for them to do. Unlike a diaper, the Belly Band does not fit between the legs, but wraps around the boy's tummy with extra protection in the important area. Both Styles are made of a double thick, soft jersey fabric and are comfortable to wear and easy to wash. The Belly Band has a wide Velcro strip for quick removal when your dog is going outside and it takes only seconds to put back on when your dog comes in.

Tips & Washing Instructions for Belly Bands & Fancy Pants

Belly Band and Fancy Pants Tips:

1. Secure snugly but no so tight this it cuts off circulation or causes irritation.

2. If dog gets quite wet, wash down the belly area to prevent irritation and dry thoroughly.

3. Do not leave a wet pad on your dog. Chaffing and sores may develop.

4. If chaffing develops, use a protective ointment on your dog’s skin.

5. Belly Bands and Fancy Pants are not meant to replace your dog’s regular potty training.

Maintain a regular eating and potty schedule for your dog.

Washing Instructions:

1. Close Velcro ends

2. Wash in warm water

3. Medium heat when drying

What pad to use in your Belly Bands and Fancy Pants:

1. In the X-small and small sizes we like maxi pads with wings, cut in half.

2. In the medium size, maxi pads with wings

3. For larger sizes use adult diaper pads.

4. Cotton pads work best.

5. Use thicker pads depending on the amount of urine produced by your dog
