We have numerous dogs at various phases of intake. They will be added once vetting is complete.
Our dogs have been fully vetted prior to becoming available for adoption. We treat all issues presented at the time of intake; full blood panels, dentals(if required), vaccinations, spayed/neutered and we microchip the dogs as well. We share all the health and life details that we have with adoptees in addition to being available to address any questions or concerns after adoption.

Jax – Milwaukee, WI Area
Jax, is a mix, 2-4 years old little guy. He came into rescue a severely neglected dog, at last check his weight was merely 3.7 lbs. Jax is now up to approximately 6 lbs. For feeding a slow feeding dish is used and Jax gets smaller, more frequent meals during the day.
He loves a lap to cozy up on an of course those belly rubs and will give little kisses. Jax is being house trained, he is crated while foster is at work and uses the pads in the crate. He knows some of his basic commands like sit, down and go into your bed. He also knows commands like sit, down, shake a paw, and beg. Enjoys playing fetch.
He loves his walks. If you like to power walk, hike, he is the best. He gives you a great work out. He ignores other people passing by and other dogs.
All of our dogs have had complete physical/medical exam. Treated for any issues presented, spayed/neutered as well as being micro-chipped.

b
Best Friend (AKA BiF)
B.F. loves to snuggle on a lap. Loves to run and play. Will sleep quietly in bed at night. He would probably do best as an only dog since he loves to be top dog in the house.

Sweet & Spicy (Sweetie) – Racine, WI
She is young and ready to meet her forever family to teach her all about being a good dog.
Look at that face, the cuteness is beyond and she is ready to be your forever companion.

Parker – Racine, WI
He sleeps on the bed, but politely stays curled up near my feet. Due to his small stature and quiet disposition, he would thrive in a home with adults. While he gets along with the other dogs/cats in his foster home, he would do well in a home with other middle aged/senior dog(s).
He may require additional potty training, he does go outside, however, there has been the occasional accident indoors. The foster family uses belly bands to address that issue.
Cuddling up with Parker is a gift, he is well behaved and so loving. With fall around the corner, he would be a great fit with that favorite blanket on those fall windy days.

Arthur – Racine, WI
Arthur is likely best suited to be an only dog, as he likes to be the center of attention. His foster family is working on additional potty training and encouraging boundaries with the other dogs/cats in his foster home.
Arthur is the biggest cuddle bug, likes to be close to his foster mom whenever he can. He has been through a lot and would love to settle down with a forever family.

Howard – Fremont, WI
EXPERIENCED DOG OWNER ONLY
Howard gets along great with his foster brothers and sister and is even nice to the cat. He sleeps in bed with his foster family. He is crated during the day for a few hours and he is good about chewing and playing with the available toys.
The foster family is working on potty training and are very optimistic on Howard’s progress.

Teddy – Huntersville, NC
Just taken into rescue
everyone! We believe he would do great with playmate but would do well as an only dog. He sleeps well in his crate at night but may need some time to adjust to his new home. Due to his size he is not appropriate for households that have young children or large dogs.
Because Teddy has just come into rescue we will have more detailed updates in a few weeks.

Dasher – Hobart/Green Bay, WI Area
He’s working on potty training, so he currently wears a belly band during the day. However, he keeps his kennel clean at night. He came to the rescue extremely neglected. Because of his small size, he is not appropriate for households that have young children or large dogs.
Dasher deserves a home where he can get all the attention he has not had.

When our dogs are ready for adoption, our foster parents have had time to evaluate them and determine their needs for a new home. We have created an Adoption Process that will ensure a smooth and safe transition from our rescue to your family. Our top priority is ensuring our Maltese go to the best possible forever home.
